Paula Abdul : Four Is A Crowd

Paula Abdul does not want to have another new judge sitting by her side on” American Idol.,” now on its eight season. Her pronouncement that four is definitely a crowd is a simple and clear message to Kara DioGuardi that Paula Abdul finds that three judges inside the room is the most conducive in conducting the affairs of “ American Idol” and with the addition of Kara DioGuardi, the right mix might not be attained.

Paula Abdul, according to OK! Magazine gets along fine with Kara DioGuardi, the newest member of the judging panel of the “American Idol.” However, as the magazine stated, Paula had said that, “We tried four judges before and it doesn’t work.” Actually, the reason according to Paula Abdul why she is against the addition of a fourth judge is that it interrupts the show’s flow with four people weighing in instead of the more efficient three. Of course, we can only speculate as to the real motivation why Paula Abdul is against the addition of a new judge for “American Idol.”

If you were on Paul Abdul’s high heeled shoes, would you want to share the limelight with a new comer judge who goes by the name of Kara DioGuardi? While others have voiced out their opinion that Paula Abdul is just plainly insecure that Kara DioGuardi might outshine her in the process, others have also commented on the fact that Paula Abdul should not feel threatened as her talents have already ensconced her to a pedestal of high celebrity status. Thus, with the addition of Kara DioGuardi, we can only hope that “American Idol” would have a much better screening process for if not, then we can say that the producers of the show should have listened to their very own Paula Abdul.
