Her pronouncement that four is definitely a crowd is a simple and clear message to Kara DioGuardi that Paula Abdul finds that three judges inside the room is the most conducive in conducting the affairs of “ American Idol” and with the addition of Kara DioGuardi, the right mix might not be attained.

Magazine gets along fine with Kara DioGuardi, the newest member of the judging panel of the “American Idol.” However, as the magazine stated, Paula had said that, “We tried four judges before and it doesn’t work.” Actually, the reason according to Paula Abdul why she is against the addition of a fourth judge is that it interrupts the show’s flow with four people weighing in instead of the more efficient three. Of course, we can only speculate as to the real motivation why Paula Abdul is against the addition of a new judge for “American Idol.”
