OMG! This movie Daybreakers would turn us humans into vampires and those remaining humans not yet turned into vampires will be farmed out to have human blood supply for the vampire population. What a movie. Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which a plague has transformed much of the world's population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human for their blood, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. When deprived of blood for extended periods of time, vampires lose their human-like characteristics and begin to transform into sub-siders, which are a more monstrous, bat-like version of vampires with wings and enough strength to overpower normal vampires. However, a covert group of humans makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race. Whew!
