June 1943, was the month and year that the Tuskegee Airmen were assigned to combat over North Africa. The airmen showed courage, skill and dedication in air combat that they were able to dominate their assigned air space over the allegedly superior Luftwaffe Airmen . They flew more than 15,000 sorties, and over 1,500 missions during the war, and they they never lost an escorted bomber to enemy fighters. No other escort unit could claim such a record.

Jacob, who was present for the birth, almost immediately imprints—an involuntary response in which a shape-shifter finds his soul mate—on Edward and Bella's newborn daughter, Renesmee. Wow! The third section of Breaking Dawn shifts back to Bella's perspective, describing Bella's painful transformation and finding herself changed into a vampire and enjoying her new life and abilities. Because "immortal children" are uncontrollable, creating them has been outlawed by the Volturi . After Irina presents her allegation to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. My goodness! I have watched this film several weeks ago but even to this day, I sometimes have nightmares because of this Paranormal Activity Movie. One reason I post it here is due to the many request to watch this movie coming from friends and relatives who also wants to have nightmares, OMG! Actually, this movie is about Katie, a student, and Micah, a day trader, who are engaged to be married. Katie claims that a ghostly presence has haunted her since her youth and believes that it has followed her to their two-story tract house in suburban San Diego, California. Micah buys a video camera in the hopes of capturing paranormal activity on film. During a visit to their house, Dr. Fredrichs, a self-professed psychic, assesses that they are being plagued by a demon which feeds off negative energy and is intent on haunting Katie no matter where she goes. Each night, Micah leaves the video camera on a tripod in their bedroom to record whatever might be occurring while he and Katie sleep. He manages to document several phenomena such as objects moving on their own, lights and televisions switching on and off, and sounds ranging from voices and growls to footsteps and loud thuds. The strange occurrences in the middle of the night soon involve Katie awakening to spend several hours standing by the bed staring at Micah while he sleeps and going outside to sit on the backyard swing, none of which she remembers the following morning. My goodness! A real comedy film, indeed. I dunno if this is the first comedy film of Matt Damon or not. But as it is, Damon is a gem in this comedy film "The Informant," where he plays a ranking executive of a food company involved in price-fixing of Lysine, a food additive.

Damon was the one responsible for squealing their company's criminal practice after his wife forced him to. And because he was suffering from a bipolar syndrome, a kind of mental illness where a a person may engage in risky behavior and feel impervious to any consequences of his actions, he ultimately told the authorities of the malpractices of the company he works for without any reservation as to what would be the result.

Lance Armstrong is considered as the American cyclist par excellence because of his record of winning the Tour de France, which is considered as the world's most gruelling cycling competion, for a record of seven consecutive years from 1999 to 2005. And that is only half of the story why we consider Lance Armstrong the cyclist par excellence.

Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with testicular cancer, a tumor that spread to his brain and lungs in 1996. His cancer treatments included brain and testicular surgery and extensive chemotherapy. A person of lesser guts and courage would simply have raised the white flag and call it quits in his cylcing dream to bag the most coveted championship ever, the Tour de France. But Lance Armstrong is not made of ordinary steel. Some would say he is made out of a carbon composite material, light but very strong in both physical and mental attributes.

Needless to say, Lance Armstrong, the cyclist par excellence that he is, continued his cancer treatment while at the same time his grueling and extensive cycling preparation for the coming Tour de France of 1999. Result? He won the 1999 Tour de France Championship amid his cancer treatment. The wonder of it all is that the following year, he again won the Tour de France championship and every year thereafter up to 2005, where he accumulated a total of seven (7) consecutive Tour de France championship, a feat no other human being has done, besides being a cancer victim.

Actually, I decided to feature Lance Armstrong and his accomplishments despite the odds against him because of his battle with cancer to give hope and inspiration to other cancer sufferers to include a good friend who is also an athlete. 2012 a film about Mayan's doomsday prediction is an upcoming science fiction disaster film and is set to be released on November 13, 2009, worldwide.

2012 is all about a global cataclysm occurring in the year 2012 which would result to the end of the world. Although this film is just a science fiction, it was actually inspired by hypotheses that would indicate the ancient Mayans predicted a doomsday scenario that would occur in the year 2012.

The film 2012 has a cast that would include John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Oliver Platt among others. 2012 is directed by Roland Emmerich.

"Boys Over Flowers" the bitter cold nearly proved fatal to Jan-di if not for the timely arrival of Jun-pyo who was searcning for her on the snow covered fields. When found by Jun-pyo, Jan-di was already unconscious due to freezing cold. Last night's episode of "Boys Over Flowers" elicited applause and clapping of hands from my sister and her classmates who were together at home to work on their science assignment.

The romantic interlude between Jun-pyo and the girl heroine Jan-di made my sisters and her classmates forgot all about their science project. I must suspect the project was a cover up to personally chat among themselves during the time they were watching the TV show "Boys Over Flowers." They might have used up their phone's monthly talk time during their nightly lengthy phone chat so they aranged this cover-up. Nice girls!

Last night story of "Boys Over flowers" is what these girls have been waiting for to happen between Jan-di and Jun-pyo - a romance that have been expected between the two. The scene inside the log cabin when Jun-pyo was able to waken up Jan-di from unconsciousness after the spell of having been exposed to bitter cold was so touching for the girls. The ohhhs! and the ahhhs! were all they can muster to say while their eyes were all glued to the TV screen.

But as the nature of soap operas of mixing joy with sadness, the later part of the show "Boys Over Flowers" would put a strain to the girls more specifically to my sister who is a die hard Jun-pyo fan. The father of Jun-pyo, who was in mainland China for business, became critically ill. Now the girls are praying that nothing serious will happen to the father of Jun-pyo.

When the episode of "Boys Over Flowers" ended, the horn of a car signalled that it is time for the girls to go. For these girls, my sister included, this is how to do their science assignment together at home - chatting, laughing, clapping, shreiking and crying while watching "Boys Over Flowers"

"Boys Over Flowers" The Lost Necklace

"Boys Over Flowers" The Lost Necklace was the theme of yesterday's show of "Boys Over Flowers" that made my sister again explode in anger while watching the TV show. I was busy writing my other blogs when I heard her cry in anger.

It turned out she was venting her anger and frustrations on three ladies who turned out to be classmates of both Jan-di and Jun-pyo. They were trying to make a fool out of Jan-di by stealing her valuable necklace given to her by Jun-pyo. This time," Boys Over Flowers" the lost necklace would make my sister train her anger on these three girls.

They were able to snatch Jan-di's necklace without her knowledge during the time Jan-di was was trying to balance herself while learning to skateboard on the snow. They did this by pretending to help her not to fall down. And while they were holding Jan-di up, one of the girls secretly plucked her necklace without Jan-di knowing it, because she was concentrating on balancing herself not to fall down.

These girls would then tell Jun-pyo that Jan-di lost her necklace that resulted to Jun=pyo being angry with Jan-di. I can sense that Jun-pyo's anger at Jan-di for having lost her necklace cannot match the anger my sister felt for the three girls. And then her cell phone began ringing. Their conversation with her classmates where all directed against the three girls who snatched Jan-di's necklace.

Now the sad part of last night's "Boys Over Flowers" relating to the lost necklace of Jan-di was the fact that the three girls made up a story that would make Jan-di look for her necklace alone and at night on the snow covered wide open range even when there was bad weather coming ahead without her knowledge.

The continues cell phone chatting of my younger sister and her classmates would now be at fever pitch, all directed against the 3 girls. Their chattings finished, my sister was suddenly clapping her hands excitedly when Ji-hoo caught the 3 girls talking about Jan-di and what they did to her.

Because of the discovery of their evil deed and the fact that Jan-di might be in danger, Jun-pyo was informed by phone and was soon on the way to rescue Jan-di from freezing in the middle of a snowy weather. My sister and her classmates are again on the phone talking excitedly about the good developments of "Boys Over Flowers" and the story of the lost necklace.

"Boys Over Flowers" the rescue efforts of Jun-pyo's three friends comprising the F4 were so heartily greeted by all the fans of Jan-di and Jun-pyo. This was the episode seen last night that even my sister keep clapping her hands and jumping up and down in seeing the members of F 4 namely Ji-hoo, Yi-jung and Woo-bin rescuing Jan-di and Jun-pyo.

I can really sense the excitement of the fans of "Boys Over Flowers" at the rescue efforts of the three F 4 which were successfully made in rescuing their F4 leader Jun-pyo and the lady heroine Jan-di from the hands of Hadje and his three other cohorts. I know the girls were all so happy and they did enjoyed the rescue efforts as attested to by the continues buzzing of my sister's cell phone and the excitement in their conversations with her fellow classmates who were all avid followers of "Boys Over Flowers".

Thank goodness the rescue was a success otherwise, my sister might not be able to eat her dinner from despair over the fate of Jan-di and Jun-pyo. After the "Boys Over Flowers" episode last night which showed the rescue undertaken by the three F4 members, my sister felt so happy that she washed the dishes while singing a lively song. This is the happy effect to my sister of "Boys Over Flowers" and the rescue made to Jan-di and Jun-pyo in last night episode of "Boys Over Flowers."

OMG! This "Boys Over Flowers" story I should have posted several days ago if not for a fever that effectively shut me down for several days. Hey girls, this is not the scary AH1N1 flu virus but just the ordinary flu that took me down. Well, since I am now healthy as a bull, let me kick off and snort about last night's episode of "Boys Over Flowers" story.

I mean I could have kicked the butts of Haje and his fellow gangsters for such cowardly tactics against Jun-pyo and our lady heroine Jan-di for kidnapping Jan-di to lure Jun-pyo to rescue her alone and then harming them in a brutal way. The "Boys Over Flowers" story turned violent with Haje at the scene. Well you see, Haje did not make me feel like he was some sort of a loner hero at all. He ws actually a psychotic model who delights on torturing women and the helpless. I think Haje is a gay in disguise.

If only I could lay a hand on Haje, God forbids. I truly felt very sorry for Jan-di in this episode of "Boys Over Flower" story. Anyway girls, if I am not mistaken some of you might have felt a crush on Haje, like my sister did. But now she is so angry at Haje for mauling both Jun-pyo and our heroine Jan-di. And the fact that it was the birthday of Jun-pyo when Haje together with his gang mauled him and Jan-di, sent my sister upstairs crying and tearing the pictures of Haje to pieces, OMG!

"Boys Over Flowers" Characters are so much in demand everywhere they go these days from their millions of adoring fans who are mostly teenage girls. These Korean stars composed of four men and one woman are taking their stardom in stride. However, to shrieking fans seeing them in person is worth the money and the effort they spend for so long as they can get a good glimpse of the characters they always follow on the TV show "Boys Over Flowers."

One reason why there is so much fanatism of fans for the characters of "Boys Over Flowers" is in the story plot itself, the beauty and handsomeness of the casts and because the plot was designed to develop into a triangle love affair between the heroine and two of the four guys involve in the story. Precisely, this would make the fans agog over who their idolized heroine falls for.

First on spotlight is the only girl among the five characters of "Boys Over Flowers." Her name is Geum Jan Di. She is an ordinary high school girl who is a capable swimmer from a school without a swimming pool. Jan-di family owns a modest dry cleaning business near an exclusive high school for the moneyed rich of Korea. One day, while bringing over to this school their dry cleaned uniforms, she was able to save a student who tried to commit suicide. Her heroic effort was played up by the press and she received praises from many sectors. The exclusive school decided to award her a scholarship in swimming for her deed. It was in this school for the rich where she meet the four F4 boys who are the richest among the students and who are all spoiled brats. The story of "Boys Over Flowers" would then begin to unfold from hereon.

Goo Joon Pyo is next on spotlight among the five characters of "Boys Over Flowers." Jun-pyo is the richest among the four boys. His family owns the biggest business in Korea. He grew up not in the care of his always busy and on the go parents, but in the care of servants. Because of their very rich stature, Jun-pyo grew up in an athmosphere of all- around the clock security since there were several kidnapping attempts on him which even resulted to his near drowning . The experience made him afraid of water and avoided swimming. His situation made it necessary to master the art of self defense and so he bacame a martial arts expert, obtaining the highest degree in all forms of self defense. Jun-pyo is the leader of the four boys or the F4 in "Boys Over Flowers." The person he is afraid most is his older sister, Joon-hee. Fear is what he felt for her older sister instead of love. And because Jan-di reminds him of his sister, the love that he would have expressed for his sister is unexpectedly channeled to Jan-di. This is the real reason why he fell for Jan-di. I would imagine many of you fans of Jun-pyo and Jan-di might be surprised at this revelation.

Next is Yoon Ji Hoo. Ji-hoo is the most handsome among the F4 in "Boys Over Flowers." His grandfather is Dr. Yoon Seok-Young, the former Korean President. Ji-hoo has music in his blood. His family owns the Su-Am Cultural foundation. the art Center and a Korean Orchestra. At a young age of 5 years, he lost both his parents due to a car accident. Ji-hoo was at first madly in love with Seo-hyeon. With the help of Jan-di, he courted Seo-hyeon and even followed her to France . Ji-hoo later came back to Korea after realizing that what he felt for Seo-hyeon was only pure admiration not love. Ji-hoo has an attitude of being an insensitive person. He seemed to know what to do with his life but concern for others is definitely out of his way. His friendship with Jan-di, however, made him realize his negative attitude. Ji-hoo is part of the love triangle that will exist in the korean TV series " Boys Over Flowers " together with Jun-pyo and the show heroine, Jan-di. Their love triangle is definitely one reason why teenage girls are so keen on watching every episode of" Boys Over Flowers"

The third character on spotlight is So Yi Jung. This "Boys Over Flowers" character is an exceptional and talented potter. Yi-jung came from a very well known family of potters that own several ceramic manufacturing concerns. Yi-jung, however, lives under the shadows of his elder brother who is more talented than Yi-jung in pottery making and was expected to take over the family business until something happened that made hi elder brother leave home and stopped his interest in ceramics business. The burden of shouldering the continued operation of their family ceramics business is now left squarely on the shoulders of Yi-jung. When it comes to his love life, he feels inferior which is the main reason why he acts as a playboy since he could not stand to settle with one girl due to his inferiority complex. Actually, the character of Yi-jung in "Boys Over Flowers" is that of a gentle person, kind hearted and one who is trying his best to seek out a girl that would come to understand his weakness.

The last character is Song Woo Bin. Woo-bin is the most mature of the F4. He likes going out with older women and is considered as the most mellow of the four brats of the "Boys Over Flowers" characters. And just like Yi-jung, he is also a playboy. His family is in the construction business and owns one of the giant construction firm in Korea. Woo-bin always like to court sexy but matured beautiful women and would go partying with them whenever he can. Because of his flamboyance coupled with his handsomeness and social stature, matured ladies he courts would usually fall for him. Have you seen the Pacquiao Hatton fight? If you ask me, I did, but oh my goodness, I nearly missed watching it. The reason? Mother nature called so I have to leave my seat where I am comfortably settled in, after having to fork out a fortune for the chance to watch the fight in an air-conditioned cinema inside a mall.

Thank goodness the mens comfort room was not so crowded to have myself relieved immediately of my liquid burden. When I returned to my seat, the right hand fake of Pacquiao can be seen coming to the head of Hatton. I can see the eyes of Hatton revited to the coming right hand of Pacquiao which after all, proved to be a fake, while the killer left of Pacquiao zoomed in for the finishing kill. Hatton received the knock-out blow of Pacquiao with such a force that I can still recall the sound of the impact.

All of us inisde the cinema where shouting with unrestrained joy at Pacquiao's triumph. Indeed, the problems that is besetting our country, the Philippines, was suddenly all but forgoten in the several minutes of thunderous jubilation that followed. Kara DioGuardi said that, “Paula has a right to her opinions, but I was disappointed by her comments, and hurt that she did not address them to me in person,” This was Kara DioGuardi’s exclusive statement in an exclusive statement made to Access Hollywood.

Despite all this, Kara DioGuardi says that she is happy to be a part of the “American Idol” family and is pleased with what she can bring to the judge’s table.

“I am proud of my contributions to the show, and remain excited about the rest of the season” Kara DioGuardi told Access Hollywood.

It was the interview with OK! Magazine where Paula Abdul said that while she gets along well with Kara DioGuardi, she doesn’t think adding a new judge was what was best for the Fox show. A Personal Ghost Encounter

Dear Readers,

I am hereunder reprinting a personal experience that
I wrote in another one of my blogs and which I also
submitted to Shvoong, an article directory that I
am writing for. this personal experience happened
when I was in my early 20 s and in a far place and
situation that I am now in. Hope you will come to like
this story that happened to me.

It was a bleak Sunday afternoon. I was driving my
old Suzuki Samurai home after visiting our farm.
I decided to take a new route to the City where I live.
This new route was opened just several weeks ago
to the driving public to cut their travel time in half.

This road will pass three towns instead of the usual
six towns that you have to travel before reaching
the City.

I was already driving on the second town along the
seacoast when I saw this old remains of a Spanish
stone house on a hill. I have already passed by it
when something in me made me stop, reversed
gear and backed up towards the foot of the hill, got
out of my vehicle, and begun to ascend the stone
stairs leading to the top of the hill where the old and
broken down Spanish stone house was located.

I was all the while reasoning with myself why the heck
I am doing this , but a force I just could not explain made
me continue ascending the stone stairs until I realized I
was already standing on what was supposed to have been
the veranda of the house which were now a pile of moss
and foliage of wild plants surrounded by cracked and
blackened balusters with several stone pillars jutting
out to the darkening sky.

I begun hearing voices speaking a language that I understand
as I was good in my Spanish class. My mind was now going
back and forth, trying its darn best to separate my imagined
visualization from reality , as the moss covered remains of the
Spanish house begun its transformation to a palatial house
replete in the splendor of the Spanish era tradition with huge
chandeliers adorning the wide receiving room and a gilded
staircase winding towards the second floor.

A lady garbed in Spanish time clothing and whose beauty
I seemed to connect in some distant past appeared on the
second floor and was now rushing down the stairway
with open arms as if to meet and welcome me. Instinctively,
I also raised my hands in anticipation that we will hug each
other, when a sudden tap on my shoulders erased my imagined
visualization of sorts. I turned around to find an old man, who
introduced himself as the caretaker of the abandoned
property.

Dazed and confused, I asked him questions about the house.
He told me that many many years ago, the owner, a married
but childless Spanish mestiza whose name was Angelina
committed suicide after her husband whom she loves so much
left her to live with another woman.

Before she killed herself, she left a letter giving this property
to the town government, on the condition that the house should
never be touched and should be left alone to face and succumb
to the elements of time, as a testimony to her grief.

I thanked him for the story and was about to leave when out of
the blue, I asked him if who was the name of her husband. He
told me that the name of her husband was Eduardo.

Dumbfounded and feeling very cold, I went back to my
vehicle and drove home. Even now as I write this story, I can
feel the icy coldness that I felt then.
